MHS Science Olympiad Headed to Nationals for 2nd time in Program HistoryThe Mason High School Science Olympiad Team is preparing for a back-to-back nationals appearance. The team had another successful year and finished second in the State competition at The Ohio State University on Saturday, April 27. This qualified the team for the opportunity to compete at nationals.  

This is just their second year ever qualifying for nationals in the program’s 17 year history. The 2019 Science Olympiad National Tournament will be held at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York on June 1.

The MHS Science Olympiad Team captains are seniors Emily Fang, Jenny Hong, Allen Yang and junior, Alisa Zhang. The advisors for the club are MHS science teachers Aimee Hansen, Brian Thomas and Linette Graham.
