On January 27, 28, and February 3, 4, Mason High School Theater will present Thornton Wilder’s Our Town in the school’s Studio Theater. Curtain on each day is at 8pm with a 3pm matinee also scheduled for January 28. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students, children, and seniors. All senior citizen Mason Golden Comet Card holders are invited to attend the final dress rehearsal on January 27 at 7:00pm free of charge, or can reserve a limited number of free tickets by calling the Public Information Office at 398-0474, option 7 . Our Town is one of America’s most beloved plays. Telling the story of two families from Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire, Our Town focuses on the romance of George Gibbs and Emily Webb and their growing up, their living, and their dying. The play is a touching reminder to live each and every day to the fullest. The play will be presented in Mason High School’s intimate studio theater with seating limited to 180 seats. The play is suitable for general audiences.
Our Town has a cast of 23 students and features Kayla Williams as the Stage Manager, Matt Berman as George Gibbs, Anna Kosiarek as Emily Webb, Katie Kenniston and Gerardo Contreras as Mr. and Mrs. Gibbs, and Kayla Stroud and Sam Terribilini as Mr. and Mrs. Webb. The show is stage managed by Ale Zaleta, assistant directed by Jordan Curtis, and assistant technical directed by senior Matt Slusser. The play is produced by special arrangement with Samuel French.
